The general consensus when it comes to Sony Ericsson phones is that they are overpriced because of the Sony name. However, individual retailers may discount the handsets to make them more attractive, and there is no denying Sony Ericsson have produced some great phones over the years and cater for all needs with their phone ranges. Sony Ericsson phones range from cheap to very expensive so there is something for everyone. Let’s have a look at some of Sony Ericsson’s wide range of phones:

Sony Ericsson Aino

The Sony Ericsson Aino was released in late 2009 and is one of Sony’s more modern phones. It combines modern technology with some parts of technology from the past as the Sony Ericsson Aino combines a touch screen with a slide out keypad. The key pad on the Sony Ericsson Aino is alpha numeric which means it combines letters and numbers on the key pad.

Sony Ericsson K330

The Sony Ericsson K330 is one of Sony’s cheaper phones and it has been given consistently bad reviews but I’m going to look at it anyway to give you an idea of what your looking at when you buy a budget phone from Sony. The Sony Ericsson K330 is a very simple phone and works for calling and texting – but those are about the only features that it manages to do well. The Sony Ericsson K330 can store up to 450 pictures and take 12 minutes of video but that estimate is based on the maximum amount of memory that it can have before pre sale programming. The Sony Ericsson K330 also has a flashlight situated on the top of the phone.

Sony Ericsson T715 Pink/Silver

The Sony Ericsson T715 comes in two colours – Pink and Silver (or chrome) and is one of Sony Ericsson’s budget phones. Other budget Sony Ericsson phones have been reported by users as poor quality, especially with the audio files. The Sony Ericsson T715 Pink however seems to be one of the best budgets phones that Sony have to offer. The Sony Ericsson T715 has lots of technology that can be found on other and more espensive Sony Ericsson phones. The Sony Ericsson T715 also comes with an in built camera of 3.2 mega pixels with  a 5 x zoom.

Overall

Although some Sony Ericsson phones are a little over priced, you can often find good discounts or incentives offered by the retailers. Sony Ericsson produce good quality phones and if you fork out a lot of money for one you can be sure that it will last and last. Some Sony Ericsson phones are good for doing business on the move as nearly all the modern ones feature internet connections but if you want something a little more full time then you’d be better off going for a smart phone from Nokia or Blackberry.
